This September, Târgu Mureș becomes a meeting point for global short cinema. From September 12–14, 2025, Uzina Foto will host three evenings of screenings in its open-air cinema space.
Audiences will discover an eclectic selection of short films from 20 different countries, each one recognized at international festivals. The program brings together a wide spectrum of genres and styles — from comedy to documentary, from animation to experimental — offering a vibrant snapshot of contemporary short filmmaking worldwide.
The screenings take place on the large terrace of Uzina Foto, a former industrial space transformed into a cultural hub. For three nights, it becomes an open-air cinema under the stars, where local audiences and visiting filmmakers can share stories, ideas, and cinematic experiences.
