When the main character denies her responsibility and makes an excuse, the dominoes that knock over symbolizes her emotion and guilt. In the beginning, the film starts with the tiny domino made of detergent powder after she loses her socks. The dominoes get bigger and bigger when she loses more valuable things. In the end, when she admits everything, the dominoes stop falling.

She doesn’t know how many of them developed into full grown children, but this thought doesn’t scare her. She decided to make some easy cash by giving away a piece of herself. Dozens of eggs and three children later, Rosa and Ioanna give their own answers about origins, roots, fathers and the concept of truth, to questions that most of us didn’t know we had.

Zone Unknown is a short abstract film that aims to open up people’s perception of cycling from an elitist endurance sport to instead a form of mental therapy. We hear intimate anecdotes from real people on how getting on a bike has been hugely beneficial and therapeutic in their lives, how it has led them back from dark places, how it can be a form of meditation and escapism within the hectic lives they lead. Cycling is simply a relationship between the rider and the bike, on the open road or static, it can transport you to a better mental state and it’s out there for everyone.

Synopsis: “Lamentation”, a fashion project (all clothes are designed by the director), is a story about grief, sadness and loss of our world/ Earth that we humans, don’t respect. In our selfishness we completely exploited our environment and nature, leaving nothing in return. Our planet is destroyed and we can only lament because of it. The models in the film appear as moths – according to the Slavs – a symbol of souls wandering on the ground. The dancers played the role of mourners/ weepers who despair over what is left of our world. The film tells about the different stages of mourning that we must go through in order to come to terms with the loss. It tells about regret, anger, longing, fear … But “Lament” is also a story about the coming of the new. A new, better world that we are all waiting for.

Synopsis: “The song mocks pseudo-artists who talk more than work, have little experience but want everything here and now. It also speaks to those who like to publicly praise their own work,” — says the Frontman and song author of “ba.” Benas Aleksandravičius. The video for “Pažadai” starts with a quote: “the walls were shaking, the dogs were barking, the children were crying.” This is an excerpt from a news report that aired on Lithuanian television in the summer of this year, just after the end of “ba.” concert in Vingis park in Vilnius, Lithuania. The idea of making the video for the single was cherished in a bar in Vilnius. The director Aboveground, who lives and works in London, gave his word to make one by the end of the year. To ensure that these promises are not just empty words, as sung in the new single, he kept his word. “We associate empty promises with rubbish, so the main video location was on the landfills,” briefly explains the director whose creative style originated in New York. When asked about the experience of filming, “ba.” frontman said he would remember it for a long time: “Being there broke any smell record. It was definitely the most challenging part of the filming,” says Benas who wears head-to-toe white in the video to contrast with the environment of the dump.

Sona and her husband Yetvart, both Armenian from the Greek neighborhood of Fener in Istanbul, moved to France in 1976. This is why the work of NGOs’, such as the From Streets to Homes Association serve as an important supplement to the Hungarian welfare system. Within this organization, the work of social workers is especially important, as they are the ones helping manage the everyday lives of those in need, often going past their personal and emotional limits during their workweek. Viktoria Molnar is one of these social workers. By following her, we get an understanding of how difficult this type of work is. At the same time, we inevitably get emotionally invested in the lives of Viki’s clients, just like she does. In every person’s life there are splinters that leave scars. The title, Shards, refers both to the lives of the people in the film and to the structure of the film, as we get small glimpses into the everyday lives of others through Viki’s work.
