Synopsis: World War II. Two soldiers found shelter from the terrors of the war in the attic in the one of the few preserved buildings. Far behind the front line, the outcome of this war remains unclear. The loudspeaker on the street spreads only German propaganda and the song “Lily Marlene” as a symbol of peacetime during the war. But will this war ever come to its end?
