Synopsis: Agora is a poetic Docufiction about the physical and mental journey of climber Lucas Lima who tests his determination on a difficult ascent. A story of discovery and awakening through a communion with nature.

Director Biography – Otávio Lima, Mickael Couturier

Otávio started his career as a visual effects artist, working as a digital compositor in many different post production houses, mainly focused in TV commercials and feature films.

In addition to his 8 years of experience the digital world and his bachelor degree in Graphic Design, he is also an experienced filmmaker, that joins both the technical post production knowledge with the practical on set production capability.

In his filmography there are awarded films and videos, that were broadcasted by the most relevant open TV network from his area. Currently living in Los angeles, CA, he works as a freelancer in the Camera Crew, as well as a VFX Producer.


Mickaël started his career as an illustrator and made his way up the professional ladder as a creative director for various multimedia companies. He then embraced a new career as a musician in London and started his first video works, developing music videos for bands.

Later, Mickaël headed out to South America where he produced tourism web series, wrote and directed 2 short movies: “A Tramp in Eden” and “Through the Eyes of the Beetle” (selected and rewarded by over 20 festivals around the World), a fiction documentary: “Agora”, and various corporate videos.

Mickaël also writes music for movies, documentaries and corporate videos. He is currently developing several projects including a long movie and a TV series, based on his own experience as a musician.
