Mina tries to fit in with people around her but she discovers that it is hard to connect. Then she finds a snail Niuniu, who unexpectedly become her best friend. And develop a special friendship.
True connection can happen at any time and even without words. Mina and Niuniu live in their own world and it seems that the happiness of the special friend matters to her more than her own happiness.
Each one of us is the star, producer, director and audience of our very own feature film in the theater of our mind. It’s like living in our own parallel universe. We all have the “real world”, within which we exist all together and interact with one another, and the creative interpretation of reality.
Our emotional responses reflect who we think we are and what we think is going on. That creates our inner movie – a refracted reflection of reality that serves as the foundation upon which we base our actions and reactions in our shared world. One of life’s greatest challenges is striking a balance between living in our very own unique world and cohabitating in a real world.
Fortunately there are many kinds of friends and we need all of them like the colors of a rainbow. Some provide fun and joy while others are like deep indigo, absorbing all our secrets, all the worries that we share and steer us into the brighter sides. They make us see how beautiful life is!
Mina and Niuniu are such friends, who hold an exceptional place in each others lives and by filming with a close up camera, the director manages to put on the screen the emotions that bind them. Such a bonding usually develops slowly, over the years getting so cemented that everyone marvels at its strength.
Even is hard to believe, special friends can read your heart, understand your anguish and provide serenity. Their soothing presence can relieve all your worries. Such friends may be very rare to find but they surely lighten your burden.
