SHORT FILM COMEDY NIGHT

With a selection that includes last year’s best movies, STTP returns in April with a new event: STTP Short Film Comedy Night Drive in Cinema in Baneasa.

At the reopening of  the cinema in Baneasa Shopping City, STTP presents, on the evening of Wednesday, 14th of April, 3 hours of awards winning short films from the major international festivals. Access to this event starts from 7:30 p.m. and entry is free. For sound, set your radio to 95.6 FM frequency. We’ll be expecting you!

Films with a nostalgic flavour

SHORT FILM FACTORY 03 @ Carturesti

In an attempt to promote the short film nationwide, starting form March, STTP has chosen to organize  SHORT FILM FACTORY in partnership with Carturesti libraries.
Thus, Saturday March 20, SHORT FILM FACTORY 03 will be held in attic of the library Carturesti Verona at 20:00. Starting with April, the event will be held in 7 cities simultaneously in Carturesti locations: Bucharest, Brasov, Constanta, Iasi, Cluj, Suceava and Timisoara.

Movies on vinyl?

The second edition of Short Film Factory had two events in the same night. From 20 pm, the bar of Club “Fabrica” turned into an unconventional exhibition of hand painted vinyl. Elis Iaia, the artist was the special guest of the evening.

SHORT FILM FACTORY returns in February with new titles of film awarded at the most prestigious festivals in the world: Clermont-Ferrand, Oscar, Cannes or Berlin.

Among the titles presented you will find  “Maquina “ of Gabe Ibanez, “La Guerra” directed by Jorge Luis Berdejo and “Dorado” or “Eramos Poços” that was nominated for best short film at the U.S. Academy Awards. You will delight yourselves with 2 hours of screenings and abroad award-winning Romanian films.

SHORT FILM FACTORY #01

After a tournament held in 30 cities and carried out over a period of 45 days, STTP returns in 2010 with a new project: SHORT FILM FACTORY.

The first edition will take place at Club “Fabrica” (Street June 11, No 50) on January 21st at 20:30. For about 2 hours you will watch a selection of the best movies of the tour. Among the titles you may find : ”7:35 de la Manana”, directed by Nacho Vigalondo, nominated for an Oscar in 2005,”La primera vez”, winner of five international awards for the best comedy, “El tren de la bruja”, best short Spanish film in 2004 or “Wavelenght”, ” Can’t walk anymore” ,  “The gynaecologist” present in more than 100 international festivals. read more…

FINAL PREPARATIONS

STTP tour is on a straight line. There are only two days until the first projection, to be held in Buzau, Wednesday, September 16, starting at 18:30 in Cinema Dacia. About the straight line, we would like to mention that the rest of the lines that will compose the route (map) of this tour will be drawn by the official car of the STTP, HOVER CUV. This 4×4 will ensure that the tour’s team will travel in the best conditions possible the nearly 4000 km in the 45 days of the festival.
